iBooks | Logotype Design
This project that began in early June was based around the idea of designing a logotype that would help formulate an alternative identity for the iBook (now known as Apple Books) application that is available for both macOS and iOS platforms, through the use of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the word “iBook” being part of a visual narrative whereby the lower half of the letter “i” acts a bookmark, while the two “o” letters pose as the frames of a standard pair of reading glasses.

The colour palette of the official application has also been maintained in order to provoke a sense of familiarity with the viewers, whilst a grain texture and lighting gradient are both new additions that help create an even further level of depth.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
